University College of Northern Denmark (UCN) Academy Profession, Computer Science 2012 – 2015

Computer Science is a short cycle higher education programme of two and a half years’ duration.

Programming

This, among other things, covers algorithms, data structures, language theory, data bases, internet programming and distributed programming. Working with the programming languages Java and C# /NET and uses of MS SQL Server.

System development

This covers modelling, analysis, design, project work and prototypes. Working with UP, UML and XP among others.

Companies and technology

This covers organisational theory, IT-based business concepts, ERP systems, IT security etc. This also covers computer architecture, operating systems, data security, distributed systems and networks. Among the programs used are MS Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 and VM-ware among others.
